It's been a while since we've heard from Negiman, the leek shaped who hero fights to save Tottori Prefecture and maybe the world! But, a year to the month later, the GAINAX (Neon Genesis Evangelion, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, FLCL, Gunbuster, Medaka Box) co-produced independent tokusatsu film star is back!
"Negiman" is produced by the former staff of the legendary DAICON
FILM and the present members of GAINAX. The director of "Negiman",
Takami Akai directed the DAICON's last film "The Return of
Yamatano-Orochi" in 1984. He became a co-founder of GAINAX and produced a
successful game series "Princess Maker" at the GAINAX's game division.
The first Negiman was originally produced to promote the Yonago Eiga Jihen independent film festival, held in Yonago, Tottori, on September 23-25, 2011. This year's runs November 3rd to 11th
