J-Stars Victory VS won’t have paid character DLC

 

 J-Stars Victory VS won't have any paid character downloadable content post-release, Namco Bandai said during a presentation at its Japan headquarters today. It appears that all planned characters will be in the game from the start.New characters are still to be announced, though. It's possible we'll hear about more additions come this weekend's Jump Festa.

Shonen Jump Theme Park to Open in Tokyo Next Summer

 

 Bandai Namco Group announced today that they will open a new indoor theme park featuring popular titles from the Weekly Shonen Jump manga magazine such as One Piece, Naruto, and Dragon Ball Z on the third floor of Sunshine City World Import Mart in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, in the summer of 2013. The park will have an area of about 6,168 square meters.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle adds Dio, Avdol, and Hol Horse

 

The latest issue of Jump confirms three new fighters for CyberConnect2′s upcoming PlayStation 3 fighter JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle.
Dio Brando, Mohammed Abdul/Avdol, and Hol Horse have been confirmed as playable. With Dio from Part 3 is going to be available, I hope that Old Joseph Joastar will be playable as well, same goes for Hol Horse partnering with Oigo just like in the manga and the classic PS1 game.

Naruto Shippuden The Movie: Road To Ninja-Masked Beasts To Appear In The Movie

A new scan from Shonen Jump has been released! It features the five mysterious masked beasts in Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie. Next to the drawings of each beats is a name – Byakko (White Tiger), Suzaku (Vermilion Bird), Seiryu (Azure Dragon), Genbu (Black Tortoise), and Kogitsune (Little Fox).
On the scan it says “A suspicious little fox wearing an ominous mask! Four creatures wearing the same mask of the Little Fox. What is the purpose of these sacred beasts that rule the four compass points!? The disclosing of the original characters that Kishimoto-sensei thought for the movie! How will they be involved with Naruto!?”


There isn’t any other information about the masked beasts, but according to Chinese constellations, the White Tiger represents the west compass point and Fall season, while the Vermilion Bird represents the south compass point and Summer season, the Azure Dragon represents Spring and the East, and the Black Tortoise the north and Winter.

Shonen Jump's Mysterious "D" Site Starts Countdown

 

 The official site for Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has opened a mysterious site featuring a big "D" letter today. The flash animation also shows Japanese words "最強 (the strongest)、始動 (start/begin).

Pokemon + Nobunaga's Ambition Revealed!



Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition (Japanese: ポケモンノブナガの野望) is a spinoff crossover between the Pokémon and Nobunaga's Ambition series of games, a first for the franchise. It is set for a March 17, 2012 Japanese release.


Following a series of news regarding surprising announcements from both Jump Festa 2011 and the first issue of CoroCoro magazine in 2012, the game was revealed December 17, 2011 at the Jump Festa event itself, with the official site launching soon after.Check out the trailer!
