"Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers" Poseidon Arc Screenshot


 
 Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers covers multiple story arcs including the Poseidon arc. The Marinas Generals from the Classic Era are confirmed to be in the game as playable characters. Sea Dragon Kanon has his Golden Triangle attack and you can jab Dragon Shiryu with Chrysaor Krishna’s Golden Lance.

Namco Bandai have shared a new trailer for Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers, the Saint Seiya fighting game slated for release this fall. The trailer highlights the Poseidon arc of the series.

BlazBlue Chronophantasma’s New Story Character Is Close To Kagura Mutsuki

 

 Famitsu revealed a new character in BlazBlue Chronophantasma’s story mode, Hibiki Kohaku who is close to Kagura Mutsuki. Kagura is playable in the PlayStation 3 version of BlazBlue Chronophantasma.

Known as the Black Knight, Kagura is the representative Novus Orbis Librarium officer in the 5th Hierarchical City of Ibukido. He is plotting to overthrow the NOL. Kagura is also a member of the powerful Mutsuki family.

The home release has the usual modes: challenge mode, score attack mode, unlimited mars mode, and tutoral mode. All of these extra modes have been refreshed and expanded for BlazBlue Chronophantasma.

"BlazBlue" Anime Cast/Staff and Key Art Revealed


Following the confirmation of the BlazBlue anime adaptation, the official site for the project has opened up revealing the cast staff and key art for the show. The series will be titled BlazBlue Alter Memory and will be handled by studios teamKG and Hoods Entertainment with the following staff:

Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus Coming To PS3 And Xbox 360 This October

 


Arc System Works planned to release Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this summer, but pushed back the release a couple of months. Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus has been rescheduled for October.

The PS3/Xbox 360 version will include online play and a balance update based on Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R which comes out in arcades in September.

Jojo's Anime To Start At Phantom Blood Arc

 

This had been a little bit ambiguous up until now, but it looks like the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure will be starting from the first story arc, Phantom Blood. A leak from an upcoming issue of Ultra Jump has revealed the key visual for the series, which is an image of Jonathan Joestar and Dio Brando. Jojo fans will of course recognize them as the main protagonist and antagonist, respectively, of the very first of the manga.

An adventure game which, despite its adventure tag and the fact that it's clearly not a BlazBlue Continuum Shift 3 game, Xblaze could have ties to the BlazBlue series, especially because the announcement took place at the BlazBlue Continuum Shift 2 national tournament.

Arc System Works Announces Adventure Game "Xblaze"

 

 Developer Arc System Works, primarily known for the lush 2D fighting series BlazBlue and Guilty Gear, has announced a series of games under the new "Adventure Project" banner.
