"Bayonetta: Bloody Fate" Anime Trailer

Anime studio Gonzo are producing an anime film adaptation of Bayonetta, scheduled for release this November, titled Bayonetta: Bloody Fate. The movie will be directed and storyboarded by Fuminori Kizaki (Basilisk, Afro Samurai). You can access the movie’s official website here and watch a trailer for it below.

Nintendo Not Interfering With Bayonetta 2 Development Says PlatinumGames

In an interview with Gamasutra, PlatinumGamess’ Yusuke Hashimoto and Atsushi Inaba comment on the developer’s relationship with Nintendo, who are publishing their next two games—The Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta 2.

Hashimoto, who is directing Bayonetta 2, says that rather than interfering with development, Nintendo have been more of an observer that provides critical advice when necessary, rather than interfering with development.

“And all of the things we want to do in the game, they’re not standing in our way, in that sense,” Hashimoto says. “But it’s almost as if they are a very critical player that can sit back and give us great advice on how we’re creating the game.”

Bayonetta 2 Trailer Shows Off Bayonetta’s New Costume And Hairdo

 

 PlatinumGames and Nintendo showed debut gameplay footage of Bayonetta 2. The trailer for the game also showed off Bayonetta’s new look, featuring a new costume and shorter hair.

Bayonetta Headed To PlayStation Network Next Week

 

Bayonetta is headed to the PlayStation Network as a downloadable game on the PlayStation 3. The game will be released the U.S. on January 29th for $19.99 and in Europe on January 30th for £14.99.

Bayonetta 2 Behind The Scenes Trailer

Nintendo didn’t have much to say about Bayonetta 2 during today’s Nintendo Direct presentation, but did understand that fans are anxious to hear more about the game and provided a small update in the form of a behind-the-scenes look at the development studio Platinum Games.

Some choice quotes heard throughout the video:

• “If this is supposed to be leather, I want to f ind a way to make it really look like leather.”
• “You have to constantly keep asking yourself what you are trying to express.”
• “There are lots of different locations this tie. But the trick is figuring out how to get the new locations to fit into Bayonetta’s world.
• “We really established what Bayonetta is all about in the first game. Now we are thinking about interesting new ideas to expand upon the essence of Bayonetta.”

Bayonetta 2 Trailer Revealed!

 

  Following Nintendo’s announcement of the upcoming release of their new Wii U Console in Dec, gamers would expect plenty of exciting new game to accompany the launch. One of the titles to look forward to would be Bayonetta 2 by Platinum Games, which would be launched exclusively for Wii U.

"Bayonetta 2" in Development, Coming to Wii U

 

 Well, it's the news action fans have been waiting for. Bayonetta 2 is officially in development, and it's coming to Nintendo Wii U as an exclusive. It will be produced by Atsushi Inaba and directed by Yusuke Hashimoto.

 

 In addition to the Bayonetta 2 announcement, Platinum Games announced a new name for their Wii U crowd-controlling action game P-100, which will now be called The Wonderful 101. 

Hideki Kamiya Wants to Make Viewtiful Joe Sequel

 

Would you rather have Hideki Kamiya make a sequel to Bayonetta or a sequel to Viewtiful Joe? In Famitsu this week, Kamiya reveals his preference. He tells the magazine that if he were given the chance to make a sequel, he'd like to do a sequel to Joe.
