The new Gundam series is Gundam Build Fighters

Today, Bandai and Sunrise officially took the veil of the newest Gundam project, Gundam Build Fighters. It is a TV series, with the show starting in October and airing on TV Tokyo. The story isn't like the usual Gundam series, and more like the recent OVA Gunpla Builders. The series revolves around people building Gunpla and then competing against each other with them. Okay, so it's entirely like Gunpla Builders.

Unlike Gunpla Builders, it will try to include everything and not just Universal Century. In the promo, the footage featured suits from Blue Destiny, Victory, and Turn A. As was mentioned in the initial promo, the series will feature 1/144 scale kits. What this means is that kits that have been long wanted will finally see the light of day, and yes, that does include a 1/144 Victory Gundam.

Street Fighter x Tekken Character Download Content Screens

 

If you were keeping up with news out of the EVO 2012 fighting event from the weekend, you might have heard that Capcom announced a final release date of July 31 for Street Fighter x Tekken's downloadable characters and collaborative costumes. The publisher made a more official announcement today, complete with screenshots.
The new character pack adds 12 characters to the game. Pricing is set at ¥2,000 on PS3 and 1,600 MSP on Xbox 360.

Capcom will also offer a set of twelve collaborative costumes on the 31st. These will be sold individually at ¥100/80MSP.

Street Fighter Poducer Yoshinori Ono Temporarily Steps Down

 

Yoshinori Ono, that always-smiling, endlessly positive Capcom producer, is taking a break from the world of fighting games. Because of health concerns related to overwork, Ono will be temporarily stepping down from his position as producer of the Street Fighter series.
