LEGO and Traveller’s Tales
have today announced the next big property they are preparing to get
the video game treatment, and it just might be the most exciting one
yet. While franchises like DC Comics, Harry Potter, and most recently The Lord of the Rings have been adapted by TT Games to tremendous result; it is the announcement of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes that is sure to send gamers through the roof.
Set for release some time in 2013, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes
will feature a unique story that sees S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Nick Fury
recruiting a group of Marvel’s best and brightest to take on the likes
of Loki and Galactus. So gamers looking for a LEGO title that follows
the plots of Marvel’s ‘Phase One’ movies best look elsewhere.
Among the superheroes listed in the announcement were Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk, Spider-Man, and Wolverine. Publisher Warner Bros. Interactive promised that more heroes will be featured in the game – from properties like Fantastic Four, X-Men,
D3 Publisher is working on another Tiger & Bunny game for PSP. Tiger & Bunny: Hero’s Day is different from On Air Jack by Namco Bandai’s since Hero’s Day an adventure game. You follow eight characters from the Tiger & Bunny
series and make choices that yield hero or personal points. The
storyline ultimately changes depending on the decisions you make.
Ahead of the game's February 7th release, Namco Bandai has posted the opening cinematics for Heroes’ Vs., a Spike Chunsoft developed digital card game for the PSP feature characters/mech from Gundam, Kamen Rider and Ultraman.
Dengeki Hobby has reported that Kamen Rider Cyclone will be appearing in the forthcoming Kamen Rider Super Climax Heroes game. Unfortunately this will not be as a playable character, but rather as Rider art for Kamen Rider Joker, who is playable (with Renn Kiriyama returning to provide the voice).
While fans will know him as Philip and the right side of Kamen Rider W, as a singular rider he is set to debut in the upcoming Kamen Rider W novel, titled "The One Who Comes After Z". Here, Philip takes up Shotaro’s name and is still solving crimes. He uses Fang Joker and fights alongside with Accel, but as the fights against the Dopants gets tougher he is forced to transform into Kamen Rider by himself, becoming Kamen Rider Cyclone!
