The killer app has arrived! The Big N have finally gone and revealed what is arguably the most significant 3DS game in quite a while, and, as expected, it's a Pokemon game. Or rather games, as these things usually come in pairs.
And it seems that The Pokemon Company have finally run out of colors to use for naming (Pokemon Burnt Sienna and Pokemon Sepia were rejected in focus testing), and have switched raw letters. The 3DS' next core Pokemon games are to be called Pokemon X and Pokemon Y.
Checkout the video, watch it untill the end to see the AWESOMENESS!
The games will have full 3D graphics (and of course, 3D-viewing
support via the 3DS), a dozen handfuls of collectible monsters, slight
differences between the two variants (naturally), and of course three
new starter Pokemon, called Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie.
I have to say that I'm OK with the designs, but I've noticed them becoming weirder and weirder over the years. The raw charisma of Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle seem like a distant memory.

The games are due for a simultaneous worldwide release this October.
It seems like a long wait, but chances are you haven't yet gotten 100%
yet in Pokemon Black and White 2. And if you have, well, chances are you're rejoicing about now.
