TFSS 2.0 will once again consist of six figure, but will also include a seventh bonus figure at no extra cost. The series will consist of five Deluxe figures and one Scout along with three new head sculpts. Doesn't really match the 2013 sub which was five Deluxes and an Ultra with one new head and one head that was new on a previous TFCC exclusive. Hopefully that free figure is something really big and impressive, but probably not. Like with 2013 the figures will be released in random order starting in February and then every other month after. The sixth release will include the bonus figure.
Back at BotCon they teased us with some info on the first three figures in the series. We'll soon be seeing Headmaster Chromedome made from a Transformers PrimeWheeljack featuring a new head sculpt and Fisitron/Ironfist made from a Transformers: Generations Fall of Cybertron Roadbuster. Those along with the remaining figures will be revealed later, today we're getting our first look at Treadshot made from aTransformers: Generations Warpath. Colors are perfect, but it could really use a new head.
TFCC promises some really special things this time around utilizing a wide range of molds. They specifically mention using Japanese Henkei molds, but all of those molds were released by Hasbro as well. Only thing physically different was the Takara Tomy and Hasbro lightbars on Red Alert and Ratchet.
