Will Smith as Ultraman in a US Ultraman Movie?

After 16 years of legal battles, the company Chaiyo (which many believe stole and forged documents to steal the rights to Ultraman) has beaten Tsuburaya (the original creators of Ultraman) in all courts, paving the way for Chaiyo to move forward with whatever Ultraman projects they'd like. And one of them appears to be a US movie for Ultraman.

LEGO and Traveller’s Tales have today announced the next big property they are preparing to get the video game treatment, and it just might be the most exciting one yet. While franchises like DC Comics, Harry Potter, and most recently The Lord of the Rings have been adapted by TT Games to tremendous result; it is the announcement of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes that is sure to send gamers through the roof.
Set for release some time in 2013, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes will feature a unique story that sees S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Nick Fury recruiting a group of Marvel’s best and brightest to take on the likes of Loki and Galactus. Iron Man 3 Writer to Script More "Realistic" Godzilla Movie

Drew Pearce is making some kaiju sized footprints in Hollywood franchises these days. He's on board for the third Iron Man movie, the third Robert Downey Jr Sherlock Holmes movie, and now he's hired for a revised script for the new American Godzilla reboot. David Callahan (The Expendables), David S. Goyer (Dark Knight) and Max Borenstein (The Seventh Son) scripted earlier versions.

According to Variety, the polish isn't being done because studio Legendary Pictures has any major problems with the script; it wants to age up the characters so that they fit the prototype of the actors they would like to target. Sources also told Variety that Pearce is now being brought in to do a four-week polish on the script. Casting is expected to begin soon.

New "Iron Man," "Captain America," "Thor" Movies and More from Marvel

As good as The Avengers was, a lot of that had to do with the groundwork laid by previous Marvel movies. Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, and Captain America: The First Avenger got all the origin stories and character introductions out of the way, so Marvel Studios could point all the heroes at a threat and let them do what they do best.

The new line-up of Marvel movies sounds impressive, and features the return of Marvel's Big Three, as well as a number of new faces.

1

Iron Man 3 is set for release on May 3, 2013. Tony Stark will take on The Mandarin (played by Ben Kingsley), with Gwyneth Paltrow, Jon Favreau and Don Cheadle naturally reprising their roles from Iron Man 2.

2

Thor: The Dark World brings back Marvel's high-fantasy hero on November 8, 2013. Aside from Chris Hemsworth returning to make men and women around the world swoon at his manliness, no other details are available. I'm hoping for Enchantress, Surtur, and other assorted terrors from Norse mythology.

3

Captain America: The Winter Soldier will adapt one of the greatest storyarcs in Marvel history on April 4, 2014. Tracking down a deadly Russian assassin known as the Winter Soldier, Cap will find that his enemy is closer to him than he ever realized.

4

5

Guardians of the Galaxy sweeps into action on August 1, 2014, focusing on Marvel's lesser-known spacefaring heroes. The concept art (above) shows off Drax, Rocket Raccoon, Groot, and more, who will no doubt be dealing with the machinations of Thanos (he was the purple guy at the end of The Avengers who gave Loki his army).
