Final Fantasy Type-0 Gets Spinoff Manga Series

 

 his year's May issue of Square Enix's Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine began serialization on a Final Fantasy Type-0 spinoff manga titled Final Fantasy Type-0 Gaiden: Hyōken no Shinigami. Takatoshi Shiozawa (Full Moon) is drawing the manga with editorial supervision by Tetsuya Nomura. The manga will center on the character Kurasame. Shonen Gangan's official website is currently hosting a preview of the manga. The website is also currently hosting four wallpapers from both the Final Fantasy Type-0 manga and the Final Fantasy Type-0 Gaiden: Hyōken no Shinigami spinoff manga.

I don't know about all of you, but one of my favorite parts of Final Fantasy XIII-2 is its insane opening, where Lightning takes on the game's main villain, Caius, in a running duel through a raging battlefield and the debris of a shattered city.

Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary Teaser Site

 

Square Enix is celebrating the 25th anniversary for its Final Fantasy franchise and they have just launched a special teaser site linking to many of the Final Fantasy games they have produced over the past years. I wonder if Square Enix has prepared some surprises for us in the coming weeks.
