Gunpla Builders World Cup qualifying comes to Otakon

Gunpla Builders World Cup qualifying rounds aren't just for the west coast. At Otakon 2013 (August 9 to 11) the GBWC will be making their first of two east coast stops (the other being New York Comic Con / New York Anime Festival in October). Builders will be able to bring their finished kit right to the Bluefin booth (IND08) once they've filled out an entry form and emailed it to customerservice@bluefincorp.com first. They'll be judged for prizes which could mean a trip to Japan to represent North America at the world competition for one skilled Gunpla builder. 

The Gunpla Builders World Cup is now open to online entry!

 

For past years, if you wanted to enter the Gunpla Builders World Cup, you would have had to enter at one of the sponsoring conventions. For this year's competition, and if you happen to live in the United States, Malaysia, the Phillipines, Indonesia, or Italy, you can now enter the competition online.

 From now till the end of August 2012, participant may submit their customized Gundam AGE gunpla.
The winning entries will be printed in the November issue of CoroCoro comics

A Look Inside of Gundam Themed Hotel Room in Odaiba

 

 the Grand Pacific Le Daiba hotel in Odaiba, Tokyo, will start offering Gundam-themed suite rooms named “Room-G” tomorrow on June 29. A Japanese news wire Jiji Press has posted a news video that takes a look inside of the rooms for us. "Room G Special Type suite" has a Federation-themed living room and a Zion bedroom. Both "Special Type suite" and a less- expensive plan "Standard Type suite" offer the Gundam-themed special room service menu.
