Pokemon X/Y English Version Demo Video

The special games conference, Gamescom, has begun today and contains the recent Pokémon X & Y demo. This demo is being shown in English for the first time in Gamescom and thanks to NintenDaan, we have footage of the entire demo. While not much is shown that is new, it does showcase the mechanics of the game in English, ending with a special montage

Official Dragon Ball Z 2013 Movie Website Launched

 

 Toei Animation, the Japanese animation studio behind the Dragon Ball series of anime, has launched the official Dragon Ball Z 2013 movie website. The website was launched 12:00 noon in Japan on Saturday and was met with what seems to be a lot of traffic. When Saiyan Island visited the website, it took a good 60 seconds for it to load, but things may have cooled down at this time. The url for the website is dragonball2013.com.

The Dragon Ball Z 2013 movie is slated to launch in Japanese theaters on March 30, 2013. No release date for North America or Europe has been announced at this time. Crunchyroll Apps to Launch on PlayStation 3 and Samsung TVs

 

 Crunchyroll is bringing its anime streaming application to two new platforms this summer, with the addition of Crunchyroll to the PlayStation 3 system and Samsung Smart TVs. An app for PlayStation Vita is also set to follow later this year. 

Availability of the PlayStation 3 application will start off in the U.S. and Canada, and Crunchyroll will offer a 30-day free trial for users who download the app from PlayStation Network.

Cartoon Network To Launch Full "Teen Titans Go!" Series in 2013

 

While anime inspired cartoons have a fairly spotty track regard among fans of the original Japanese medium, Cartoon Network's 2003-2006 Teen Titans was generally well received. A super deformed spin-off of Teen Titans Go! shorts recently began airing on the network's DC Nation block, and that was apparently well received too, because it's getting its own full show next year. 

From Cartoon Network's announcement Teen Titans Go! features the return of Robin, Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy and Cyborg in all-new, comedic adventures. Character-driven comedy is the order of the day as this new take on the super hero series focuses on the funny business that happens between saving the world and living together as teenagers without adult supervision.
