FUNimation Schedules "Panty & Stocking" Blu-ray

 

Hopes that you'll be able to see the Anarchy Angels in HD have come to fruition. FUNimation has slated a new Blu-ray release of Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt Blu-ray Complete Series for December 4th. The $69.98 package will feature the US extras material in addition to the "Sanitary Box" OVA. 

Problems With The UK Panty & Stocking DVD

 

The UK is gearing up for the release of Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt on the 30th, though it seems that a select few have received their copies early. Business as usual when it comes to ordering online, but it has become apparent that there are a few issues with the DVD.

Many users have reported that the last three episodes have a chunk of content missing from the end. Episode 11 and 12 cut out about thirty seconds before they are meant to, and a large portion of the post-credit content in the final episode is also missing.

While there's no thematic reason why trangressive anime comedy Panty and Stocking With Garterbelt shouldn't work in English, it's hard not to be curious as hell as to what the Anarchy angels would actually sound like in a different language.
