Saban's Power Rangers Visit The White House

 

 Saban’s Power Rangers Megaforce were lucky to be part of the 2013 Easter Egg Roll at the White House this past weekend, where the Rangers and Robo Knight teamed up with First Lady Michelle Obama and her "Let's Move!" initiative to encourage children to lead healthy and active lives. The Rangers are promoting healthy living through "Power Rangers emPOWER" by teaching kids and families how to put the Power Rangers values of teamwork, confidence, health and physical activity into action.

Power Rangers Megaforce "Never Surrender" Game

 

 In Never Surrender, players help their favorite rangers take on the pesky Loogies and fearsome Warstar Aliens. They can also form their own teams of two by choosing the ranger they wish to play with; from there they’ll battle their way through waves of oncoming enemies in familiar environments from the show.

Super Megaforce Will Keep The Goseiger Costumes!

Despite Power Rangers Megaforce's second half having plans to use footage from Gokaiger, the Megaforce Rangers are still going to use the Goseiger suits in Super Megaforce. However, this doesn't mean that the Gokaiger won't appear in the second half, since they could appear as a supporting Ranger team. Then again, they didn't say anything about them not upgrading to the Gokaigers, so there's a possibility that they will have access to both suits.

At the moment, I think that they might go with the Megaforce Rangers using cards to access the abilities of the previous 20 Rangers, since it will give Saban the chance to still market on the original changers. And now that I think about it, this will give Saban the opportunity to rely more on original footage.

Power Rangers Megaforce Trading Card Game Announced!

 

 ICv2 recently published an interview with Bandai marketing manager Danny Satyapan, who revealed the company's plans for a Power Rangers Trading Card Game to coincide with the release of Power Rangers Megaforce.

 

 When asked about the game, which is due for release in February, Mr Satyapan had this to say:

"The theme of Power Rangers in 2013 is called Megaforce and it’s the first time in the history of the Power Rangers franchise that the theme is about cards. Basically the Power Rangers use all of their cards, insert them into their morphers and through magic and other sorts of things, it makes them morph into different things, activates their Mega Zords and vehicles, all sorts of things.

Gosei & Tensou to be Characters?

 

 Power Rangers news blog Samurai Cast has updated with a new post collating all the information we know so far about the 20th anniversary Power Rangers Megaforce series, including some new information concerning the characters of Gosei and Tensou.

While these characters were expected to be the American versions of Goseiger's Master Head and Datas, Samurai Cast's sources are reporting that these two will in fact be brand new characters made especially for the series.
