Face Off Against Real Pokémon World Champs in "Black/White 2"

Nintendo is doling out one heck of an incentive to those who wish to lay claim on the throne and become the very best, like no one ever was at the 2012 Pokémon World Championships. They'll be selecting some of the top players who advance to Hawaii and offering them and their Pokémon teams as downloadable challenges via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, where players around the world will be able to take them on.

Date with Hatsune Miku in Augmented Reality Environment

Have you ever dreamed of dating with your favorite anime/manga character who lives in a two-dimensional world? Now the newest Augmented Reality (AR) tool makes it real. A Japanese engineer named Alcyone posted a video to show how he dates with Hatsune Miku with his own AR glasses on Nico Nico Douga and YouTube yesterday.

"Transformers: War for Cybertron" Developers Making Marvel Game

After decades of crap, I had pretty much accepted that we were never going to get a good Transformers video game. High Moon Studios rolled around with 2010's Transformers: War for Cybertron, proving me wrong and providing a fast-paced, fan-faithful, and above all fun shooting/transforming/giant-robot-fighting experience.

While many of us wait breathlessly for WfC's follow-up, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, High Moon has stated that its next project is all about Marvel Comics. No other details were given, but High Moon will make a full announcement about the game at San Diego Comic-Con (this coming July 12-15, although the "Marvel Video Games" panel will be on July 14th).

The smart thing to do is not get overly excited, but being the huge True Believer that I am, it's difficult not to! Here are three recent Marvel arcs I'd love to see get a solid single-player action-adventure treatment from High Moon:

nova
Annihilation- Instead of a fight to save just the Earth, Nova and other C-list spacefaring superheroes have to band together against an unstoppable cosmic army that grinds everything in its path to dust. This is the Gurren-Lagann of comic books, and would make an awesome HD superhero gaming spectacle.

Project X Zone 10 Minute Game Preview

In game terms, it's a team up as big as that four story Horizon banner or 18 meter Rei slide. Namco Bandai has posted a 10 minute preview video of Project X Zone for the Nintendo 3DS, a crossover game featuring a roster from Namco Bandai, Capcom and Sega.
