AKB0048 is an upcoming anime series based on the immensely ever popular AKB48 idol group and the series is scheduled to air in late Apr 2012. Apparently some of the production video samples has found their way to the internet.
Even Matsui Rena, one of the SKE48 from the sister group has commented on the sample video, and while she is excited about the anime, she has expressed some worries about the animation quality and hopes it will be even better than The IDOLM@STER anime series.
