TM Network's Tetsuya Komuro To Collaborate with Hatsune Miku

Producer and musician Tetsuya Komuro (known for both TM Network and Globe) had been putting off music because his wife KEIKO was sick, but now that she's on the mend, he's releasing everything he's got. Two projects are out March 21st and another two are coming the 28th. One of these…is a Vocaloid album!

First up, he's releasing a remix/cover album, Digitalian is remixing. That same day, TETSUYA KOMURO Special Live @DOMMUNE comes out, which includes a DVD. A week later, a five disk, seasonally-themed electro album series formerly available only via iTunes, Far Eastern Wind, will be released, as will Tetsuya Komuro Meets Vocaloid.

This latter has 10 popular Vocaloid producers reworking 11 Komuro hits including "DEPARTURES," "My Revolution," "Koishisa to Setsunasa to Kokorozuyosa to," and "WOW WAR TONIGHT ~Toki wo Okoseyo Movement." Komuro himself performs a simple piano and vocal arrangement of the Tomomi Kahara song "LOVE IS ALL MUSIC" with Hatsune Miku. "There have always been good things and bad things about my vocals (lol), but I gave this duet with Hatsune Miku a shot and I think we're surprisingly compatible," he said. It sounds like more Vocaloids besides just Miku will be used in the project...

By the way, TM Network fans should know that the band is back. Their first performance together in four years will be at the earthquake charity concert, "ALL THAT LOVE give&give," March 20th. This is followed by a two day engagement at the Budokan in Tokyo April 24th-25th and a CD single release on the 25th.

To reminisce or familiarize yourself, here is closing theme to City Hunter (by TM Network, of course):

I wonder if this one will get a Vocaloid cover! Do you guys have any favorite Tetsuya Komuro songs you'd hope to see?
