Now this is the stuff. We've seen all the carefully edited trailers designed to build maximum hype, but now is the time to gawp at some real, raw gameplay footage of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle, the JoJo-themed PS3 fighter from Cyberconnect2. The company's put together a big, four-group
tourney featuring AI-driven battles, and recently streamed the matchups for Group A (consisting of Mohammad Avdol, Johnny Joestar, Hol Horse, and Bruno Buccellati) and Group B (with Caesar Zeppelli, ACDC, Jotaro Kujo, and Jean Pierre Polnareff). The resulting video ran to an epic 36 minutes, complete with cosplay, posing, and some production discussion. Settle in for the good stuff.

Based on the video, All Star Battle looks like a much more technical fighting game than the trailers initially let on. While that's certainly a comfort for fighting game enthusiasts, the tournament scene, and the game's long-term playability, it might put a bit of a damper on its chances for mass appeal. With some luck they'll be able to include a bunch of good teaching tools to help retain the newbies and casual fans who came mainly for the JoJo deliciousness
