
Rumors had long been floating that Nintendo will revised the Nintendo
3DS, and yesterday it announced the new “Nintendo 3DS LL” via Nintendo Direct broadcast.
The new system has a 4.88 inch top screen and 4.18 inch bottom
screen, and Nintendo states that it gives gamers 90% more screen for
both screens. Of course, this mean the system also weighs heavier at 336
grams and is 46% larger in dimentions. However, the battery life has
also improved from 3.5 hours to 6.5 hours for game time.

The Nintendo 3DS LL would be released in Japan on 28 Jul 2012, and
will be retailing for 18,900 yen. There would be 3 different color
variations at launch – Red x Black, Silver x Black and White. It has
also been confirmed that the 3DS LL would be released in Europe on 28
Jul 2012, while a North Amercia release is due on 19 Aug 2012.
