
While there's still no sign of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex director kenji Kamiyama's sci-fi revival 009: Re Cyborg
making its way to North America, a Japanese home video release with
English subtitles has been scheduled, while an English dub is in the
works for the movie's UK release.

The Japanese Blu-ray is scheduled for May 22nd, with the deluxe edition going for 10290yen($110).
The package includes making of (interview of Kenji Kamiyama, composer
Kenji Kawai etc.), press conference, CM, TV spot and much more. It also
comes with 3 booklets ("setting off" 56 pages, making of "009
RE:Animation" 112 pages, second making of "009 Re:creation" 35 pages.)
Special Features: "009 RE:CYBORG special prologue," press conference, teasers, trailers, and more. A DVD goes for 5,040 yen ($53.40) Anime Limited's UK plans include a theatrical release in Q2 2013, then DVD and Blu Ray in Q4 2013.
