Darui to be Playable in Naruto Storm 3?, Mid-Combo Awakening

 

 Darui, the right hand man of the Hidden Cloud’s Raikage, was a support character in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations. Equipped with his Black Lightning style, in Naruto Storm 3, he will be playable.

At least that’s according to Japanese blog TaleTaleSource, which often correctly reveals information that will be in the up-coming issue of Shonen Jump. Along with Darui, rumor has it there will be news of awakening mid-combo. If we understand correctly, that means players can smash the attack button, hit the right stick (the new way to awaken in Storm 3) and then unleash an even more deadly power upon the opponent!

Before getting too excited on this, let it be known, considers Darui’s playable status and the news of mid-combo awakening a rumor. The only way we can consider this legitimate is if we get a Shonen Jump scan or word by another official source, like CyberConnect2, confirming this information.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is Namco Bandai Games and CyberConnect2′s fourth entry in the Storm series. It will be available for the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 in Japan, North America, and Europe sometime Spring 2013.
